Position Title:HR Generalist

Employee Status: Full Time

Location: Hybrid - Lincoln, NE

Purpose:

We are seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to support our Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) in all aspects of human resources. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven, Veteran-owned law firm that values excellence, integrity, and service.


Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding – Assist with job postings, candidate screenings, interview coordination, and new hire onboarding.

  • Employee Relations – Support HR initiatives that foster a positive and productive work environment.

  • Benefits & Payroll Support – Help manage employee benefits, assist with open enrollment, and ensure accurate payroll processing.

  • Compliance & Documentation – Maintain HR records, ensure compliance with employment laws, and update policies as needed.

  • HR Administration – Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including handling employee inquiries and supporting strategic HR projects.

Work Requirements, Experience, Education, and Skills:

  • HR Experience – 1-3 years in an HR-related role (HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar).

  • Strong Organizational Skills – Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent Communication – Ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.

  • Tech-Savvy – Experience with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and applicant tracking systems preferred.

  • HR Certification (Preferred, Not Required) – SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar is a plus.
