Responsibilities:Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join its well-established practice in covering Tampa, Plant City and the surrounding areas.
- This position will primarily cover the NICU at South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City, with the opportunity to rotate through the 76-bed Level-IV NICU at St Joseph Women's Hospital in Tampa
- The NNP schedule will consist of 10 shifts per month, 16-hour night shifts
- The group provides 24 hour in-house delivery room and newborn coverage at hospitals within the Baycare System
- The neonatologists provide a combination of in-house and back-up call from home with either a Neo or NNP providing night coverage
- A combination of neonatologists and pediatricians provide normal newborn coverage at the hospitals
- The team consists of 16 neonatologists, 5 neonatal hospitalists and 14 NNPs who provide care to patients in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties
