Top Ten Liquors is a 15-store liquor retail chain with a fast-growing e-commerce business generating over $3.5M in online sales today. But we’re just getting started.


We have a clear vision:

We need an entrepreneurial leader to own & execute this strategy. This isn’t a corporate e-commerce role where you maintain a status quo. This is a builder’s role—you will be responsible for growing direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales, launching new revenue streams, & maximizing digital profitability.

Your Mission

1. Scale TopTenLiquors.com into a Leading DTC Platform (50%)

  • Make TopTenLiquors.com the primary e-commerce revenue source, shifting customers from third-party apps to direct purchases.
  • Increase website traffic & conversions through SEO, paid ads, email, SMS, & digital marketing—while demonstrating clear ROI to justify spend.
  • Optimize website UX, mobile performance, product discovery, & checkout flow to drive repeat purchases.
  • Leverage the Club Loyalty Program to create exclusive online offers, personalized deals, & retention incentives.
  • Launch new revenue-driving initiatives like subscriptions, exclusive online offerings, & targeted promotions for Club members.
  • Develop cross-channel strategies to reduce reliance on third-party platforms (DoorDash, Instacart) by shifting high-value customers to direct purchases.


2. Build & Launch a Compliant THC Shipping Program (25%)

  • Develop a legal, scalable framework for THC shipping in Minnesota & out-of-state where allowed.
  • Partner with internal team to establish a secure, efficient shipping operation.
  • Identify carrier partnerships & age verification solutions for seamless delivery.
  • Launch customer education & marketing initiatives to position Top Ten Liquors as the leading THC e-commerce retailer.
  • Monitor industry trends & exp& strategically as regulations evolve.


3. Optimize & Profitably Grow Third-Party Marketplaces (10%)

  • Manage & enhance DoorDash, Instacart, & other third-party delivery platforms for profitability, not just volume.
  • Optimize pricing, promotions, & featured placements to drive high-margin revenue on these channels.
  • Improve fulfillment efficiency to reduce costs & increase margins.
  • Develop cross-channel strategies to transition high-value customers from marketplaces to direct purchases on TopTenLiquors.com.


4. Use Data & Retention Strategies to Drive Growth (10%)

  • Analyze Club loyalty data to optimize customer retention & repeat purchase behavior.
  • Develop & implement personalized e-commerce promotions targeting Club members to increase engagement.
  • A/B test loyalty-driven online offers, referral incentives, & retention strategies.
  • Work with marketing to ensure that Club rewards & benefits are effectively promoted across digital channels.
  • Demonstrate ROI on all digital marketing spend (SEO, paid ads, email, SMS, & promotions) to justify continued investment.


5. Enhance & Digitally Optimize the Club Loyalty Program (5%)

  • Use Club data to drive e-commerce revenue growth.
  • Implement personalized email, SMS, & digital offers based on Club purchases.
  • Ensure seamless integration of Club rewards into the online shopping experience for easy redemption.


What We’re Looking For

  • 5-7 years of e-commerce experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success scaling a DTC e-commerce business—this is not a maintenance role.
  • Experience with Shopify, BigCommerce, City Hive, or other e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing (Google Ads, Meta, email, SMS, SEO, CRO) with demonstrated ability to prove ROI on ad spend.
  • Comfortable with third-party delivery platforms (DoorDash, Instacart, Uber Eats).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset—you don’t just manage, you build & grow.
  • Experience in alcohol, THC, or other regulated industries is a plus.
  • Highly analytical—you make data-driven decisions & optimize for profitability, not just revenue.
