We are urgently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team for the 1st shift, from 6:30am to 2:45pm, at Belmont Village Oak Park. Your skills and experience could make a real difference in the lives of our residents!

About the Role:
As an LPN at Belmont Village, you will play a critical role in providing excellent care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, supporting wellness initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating quality monitoring. You will also collaborate with various healthcare professionals and oversee the work of Medication Technicians and Caregivers.
Typical Responsibilities:
Coordinate and follow up on physician's orders, ensuring timely communication with families and healthcare providers regarding any changes in residents' conditions.
Administer medications according to physician's orders and document any adverse reactions or relevant observations.
Supervise and provide direction to Medication Technicians and caregivers to ensure adherence to care plans.
Make informed decisions and manage conflict with professionalism and care.
Maintain and update resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports diligently.
Requirements:
Active LPN license in the state.
CPR Certification or willingness to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Availability to work on weekends and holidays as required.
Intermediate skills with computers and mobile devices.
Preferred Skills:
Ability to adapt and think critically in high-pressure situations.
Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Leadership capabilities with experience in guiding teams.
Attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
Experience in medication management (over a year) and direct supervisory roles.
