As a Technical Electronics Support Professional here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide technical support to our customers and resolve complex technical issues with a focus on electronics and electrical hardware. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering exceptional hardware support service. You will report directly to our Technical Support Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Mason, OH location. In this role, you will impact customer satisfaction, team performance, and contribute to process improvement and collaboration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate a range of electronics/electrical hardware testing and repairs from PCB board swaps down to component-level soldering on a daily basis
Provide expert technical support to customers, resolving complex technical issues
Serve as a subject matter expert in relevant technologies and products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technical support strategies
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement
Contribute to the development and improvement of technical support processes and tools
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and internal teams
Maintain accurate records of repair in digital ticketing system as well as internal tracking documentation

YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in hardware technical support or a similar role
Strong interest in component-level PCB repair and willingness to learn advanced SMT soldering techniques
Expertise in relevant technologies and products
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
Experience in mentoring and leading a team
Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction
WE VALUE
Bachelor or Associate degree in EET (Electrical Engineering Technology) or a related field.
Strong technical knowledge and subject matter expertise in hardware repair, electronics
Prior experience with soldering electronics
Prior experience reading electrical schematics
Strong leadership and mentoring skills

Results-oriented approach and ability to meet business objectives
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
