POSITION SUMMARY: The Business Intelligence Manager will oversee the Business Intelligence team which is responsible for data reporting, development of analytics and measurement tools, and driving data-centric initiatives across the organization. This position will champion an information culture that drives continuous improvement across all departments. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership across the organization to develop new initiatives, define KPIs, and build reporting to measure impact. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain and continuously improve upon the data and reporting currently utilized by the company Assist in the development and maintenance of data design, structure, and infrastructure across the company Lead research and analysis to support Marketing and Sales business operations and drive performance improvement. Develop metrics to measure the performance of marketing initiatives, pricing strategies, and promotions to gain and retain customers Manage projects with stakeholders to analyze needs, define business requirements and priorities, research and identify solutions, ensure achievement of project goals, and evaluate the success of a project once implemented Evaluate large data sets with sophisticated quantitative analyses and develop models that translate data into actionable insights to solve difficult, non-routine problems Present quantitative and qualitative analyses to support recommendations to senior management for sound business solutions POSITION EXPERTISE/QUALIFICATIONS: At least 10 years of experience in data analytics Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or Finance Proficient in all MS Office applications with advanced Excel spreadsheet skills Experience with Microsoft Power BI Prior experience with data visualization tools, especially Tableau. Ability to write SQL queries General understanding of financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flows, and G/L Accounts) Roll-up-the-sleeves attitude and a hands-on approach Excellent communication skills; ability to bridge the gap between data and business knowledge and insights with clear, concise language Strong desire to teach and coach fellow employees; team-first mentality! Well organized; able to prioritize and coordinate tasks and projects Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving ability
