Required Licensure: Current MN Teaching License: School Social Worker with Masters Degree Current Social Work License: LGSW, LISW or LICSW

Responsibilities:

Experience with at-risk school-age youth Ability to work successfully with students and adults of various economic, racial, and cultural backgrounds Knowledge of special education procedures Work with students individually and in groups Work with students in special education and general education Assist with collaboration among teachers, students, families, and community to meet educational needs Provide case management services Conduct assessments Lead groups on a variety of topics Provide Crisis intervention assessment and service, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address student needs Facilitate/co-facilitate restorative circles/mediation Facilitate/co-facilitate restorative circles/mediation Liaison to community building resources: Washburn Therapist, Phase Zero, Cornerstone HHM building lead Consultation with teachers, teams re: student emotional well-being and academic progress
