Hours: 1.0 FTE Kennedy High School

Required Licensure: Current MN Teaching License: School Social Worker with Masters Degree Current Social Work License: LGSW, LISW or LICSW

Required Experience:

Experience supporting the social, emotional and mental health needs of adolescents Ability to build trusting relationships with students and adults of across economic, racial and cultural difference Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support processes Knowledge of restorative practices and cultural proficiency

Responsibilities:

In collaboration with the student support team, provide individual, group, schoolwide, family and community services Conduct threat/risk assessments and collaborate with multidisciplinary team to meet student needs Facilitate and/or co-facilitate restorative circles Connect students and families to community resources that serve to remove barriers to school access and learning Provide crisis intervention services and support
