Network Engineer
The selected candidate will work onsite in NYC, NY. The role will primarily support the New York office during business hours, with the expectation of on-call, weekends, and after-hours availability due to the Foundation's 24/7 operations.
Job Description :
We are seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Network Engineer. The role involves managing and supporting the network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, SD-WAN, and wireless technologies. The on-site network engineer will maintain the network, ensure its reliability and performance, and support the Senior Manager of Infrastructure in architecting solutions. The on-site network engineer supports the Senior Manager of Infrastructure and ensures the network's reliability and performance. They are also responsible for directing changes and collaborating with remote teams.
Qualifications and Years of Experience :
The candidate should have a current CCNP (or CCIE) certification or at least proof of recent achievement. They should have CCNP-level expertise in at least one technology and a strong understanding of how to administrate GCP resources. Additionally, CompTIA A+ certification is required.
