Position Summary
The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Nebraska Medical Center invites highly motivated and innovative Physiatrists to join our faculty. This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly established program providing services to patients of all ages.
Opportunities exist in the following areas:
- Cancer rehabilitation – CARF-accredited inpatient unit and outpatient clinics; consults at our NCI-designated Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center.
We are proud to partner with Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals, Omaha Children’s Hospital and Medical Center, and the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System. The successful candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified/eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Candidates should have outstanding interpersonal skills, enthusiasm for patient care, medical student and resident education. Our compensation package is extremely competitive. Required Qualifications
MD/DO, BC/BE in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Supplemental Qualifications
BC/BE for sub specialty certification in spinal cord injury medicine, brain injury, and pediatrics is desirable.
