Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
- At least 7 Years’ experience in Application development
- At least 4 Years’ experience in Java
- At least 4 years of experience in Spring
- At least 4 Years’ experience as a Technical Lead
- At least 1 year of experience working on Cloud technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 1+ years experience working with Big Data Technologies such as Apache Storm, Apache APEX, and Hadoop
- 6+ Years’ experience in Java, Unix, Oracle, and SQL Server
- 3+ Years’ experience in COTS products
- 4+ Years’ experience in DBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, SQL scripting, tuning, and scheduling.
- Area-dependent developer certification (e.g. Sun Certified Java - Programmer/Developer, application vendor-specific certification).
- AWS Cloud experience

One position is open in McLean and one position is open in Richmond. We are looking for candidates with strong DevOps experience, and for the role in McLean, having hands-on AWS experience would be a plus. Also, having prior tech lead/management experience is a plus. These roles require individual contribution for coding on a daily basis.
