Inpatient Adult Psychiatry Opportunity outside Charlotte, NC

Seeking a Psychiatrist to join an Adult Psychiatry / Geri-Psych practice just 45 minutes from Charlotte. We have a 16 Bed Adult Psychiatric Unit and a 12 Bed Geriatric Psychiatric Unit. Medical Center also has the new 14-bed dual diagnosis unit.

Opportunity Details

• Inpatient Only
• The new Psychiatrist will be walking into an active program.
• 42 beds: 16 bed acute adult, 12 bed geriatric, 14 bed acute adult/geriatric overflow, serving patients 18+
• Join 1 FT Psychiatrist & 2 FT Nurse Practitioners
• All full-time providers are expected to participate in the call rotation and assist the emergency and medical departments with consults.
• Call is typically one week each month and some weekend coverage.
• Full support staff: BH Medical Director, Director, Nurse Manager, Intake Coordination, Utilization Review, Nursing, Social Work, Recreation Therapy
