Key Account Manager

to join our team of professionals. This position offers great opportunity for dynamic, motivated self-starters to work on a variety of work assignments. You’ll be a member of our highly respected team of professionals with a full complement of resources to support you and exciting projects to keep you challenged. Responsibilities:

Oversee a select portfolio of major city clients, delivering white-glove service to cultivate strong, long-term partnerships. Consistently achieve and exceed sales, revenue, profitability, and client satisfaction targets. Develop and execute account plans for each key client, aiming to fulfill financial and service objectives. Identify and convert new business opportunities within key accounts, leveraging a deep understanding of our clients' needs and operations. Foster high levels of client satisfaction and work proactively to address potential issues, including leading issue resolution efforts and providing regular performance reviews and reports. Position yourself and SAFEbuilt as industry leaders and thought leaders in the field of community development services, providing unique insights and value-add to your clients. Collaborate closely with operations teams and SAFEbuilt leadership to enhance revenue growth in existing accounts, devise winning solutions, improve service delivery, and meet our overall financial targets. Apply successful account management and sales strategies, best practices, and techniques to optimize growth, win-rates, profitability, and client satisfaction. Respond promptly to all key account requests for proposals, company information, and presentations, distinguishing SAFEbuilt from competitors. Regularly communicate feedback to management to refine sales, solutions, pricing, and market strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and sales data in our CRM, providing regular reporting and forecasting as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications:

A proactive, solution-driven approach, coupled with a strong business development mentality. 10+ years of professional, account management/consultative sales experience in business to government or business to business services. Experience with large cities or similar key accounts is a plus. Proven track record of portfolio management success, with an emphasis on revenue growth and profitability. Extensive experience navigating complex, procurement-centric, relationship-based sales with extended sales cycles. Deep understanding of jurisdictional environments, including political dynamics, municipal structures, procurement processes, and building department operations. Operational knowledge of construction, building/community development service delivery (e.g., planning & zoning, engineering, plan review, inspections, code enforcement for residential and commercial) is a plus. Excellent teamwork and relationship-building skills. Superb communication skills, both verbal and written, for compelling presentations and proposals. Characterized by resourcefulness, innovation, proactivity, and utmost integrity. Willingness to travel 50%+ of the time , primarily within the U.S. Most work will be conducted from a home office. Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce. Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in business, operations, public administration, construction, or economics. Location is flexible, near major airport. Compensation & Benefits:
