Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Certified Nurse Midwife to work on a per diem basis with the MaineGeneral Medical Center Midwifery Team.
Position Overview:
Comprehensive Patient Care: As a nurse midwife in our OBGYN/Midwifery department, you will have the unique opportunity to deliver exceptional patient-centered care. This would include prenatal care and support throughout labor. Your time in clinic would include pregnancy, postpartum, well-women care and contraception management and other clinical based services for patients in the office and managing labor patients.
Patient Education & Quality: Make a positive impact on patients' lives by providing them with essential education on their pregnancy plans and guiding them throughout the healthcare journey.
Dual Campus Experience: You will have the privilege of working at both the Augusta and Waterville campuses.
Midwifery operates collaboratively with the OB/GYN physicians while working under the direct supervision on our Medical Director.
