Description:

The Strategic Market Segment Manager identifies and leads transformational programs based on deep knowledge of customer needs to drive growth in existing markets, and/ or pave the way for entry into new industries, channels, or geographies within the Americas.Responsibilities:Develop and generate deep customer and market knowledge through market, competitor, and voice of the customer (VOC) research to inform and enhance the segments commercial strategyIncrease lead generation, customer acquisition and customer loyalty by implementing go-to-market activities that drive lead and sales conversion: product, price, promotion, and channel development, with emphasis on digitalizationIdentify and implement programs to increase NSKs market share and segment leadership, including new product development and launchesWork closely with Sales, BU Marketing Specialists and BU Leaders to create and execute segment playbook to identify key accounts, accelerate wins, and maximize NSK sales and profitabilityDevelop proposals to drive organic and inorganic growth to strengthen segment strategy, including product localization, new channels, digital transformation, and M&AEnsure viability and execute the business plan for the segment across the AmericasCommunicate & coordinate strategy, industry trends, wins/ best practices, and countermeasures across commercial, technical and manufacturing teams within the Americas, and Japan HQ
