Should have programming background, client is a Microsoft Shop.Lead Project Manager must be able to and want to mentor junior PMs.Must have recent Jira experience. Must know Jira.Must have agency experience working for multiple clients.Three total project managers (This manager will be the lead).Must be Local/Nearby states - This is a hybrid role.Must have project management experience in SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT.Home office/remote work area with strong internet required, some travel may be required for client meetings/onsite.
Responsibilities:
Our Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific project which has a beginning, an end, and specified deliverables. We reserve the right to change duties beyond the scope of this job description.
Coordinate internal & client resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projectsEnsure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budgetAssist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibilityEnsure resource availability and allocationDevelop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progressManage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniquesMeasure project performance using appropriate tools and techniquesReport and escalate to management as neededSuccessfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholdersPerform risk management to minimize project risksEstablish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendorsCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentationQualifications
Skills:
The ability to provide mentorship and management to the PMOExperience with Requests for Proposal preferredLeadership Skills: keep project resources motivated, resolve conflicts and make hard decisionsTime Management: Employee will be working with employees, customers and management, often spinning multiple plates at onceMath and Budgeting: Project managers are expected to keep and maintain a budget on almost every project. Employee will need to be confident in using math skills to make sure they know where the project's money is goingAnalytical Skills: Employee will need analytical skills to be able to solve problems that may come up during a typical workday. Employee will be analyzing data and making decisions that affect the project on a regular basisSolid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in IT infrastructureExcellent client-facing and internal communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skillsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeRequirements
3+ years Project Management experience requiredProject Management Professional certification preferredAdditional Information
