A multi-billion-dollar private investment firm in Fort Worth, Texas is interested in immediately hiring a top analyst to join our investment team. This individual will work with a team of other investment professionals which handle all our private equity, distressed debt, and general credit-related investments.
Position Description:
Generate and screen new investment ideas independently and along with Senior Portfolio Managers for potential investmentResearch and analyze macro trends in the high-yield and leveraged loan asset classesManage various processes that help us identify which securities to buy or sellDevelop and maintain various methods in understanding relative value across the high-yield and leveraged loan universeCalculate and monitor portfolio analyses to understand overall fund betaMonitor major periodicals daily for news and other information that may impact our investmentsAssist Senior Partners on existing PE investmentsProvide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to private equity owners and senior managementProduce reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance analysisAssist in identifying opportunities for performance improvement across the organizationAssist in analyzing M&A opportunities and evaluate new lines of businessManage and coordinate various routine tasks with interns and participate in mentoring programRequirements:
2-5+ years' experience with a top I-banking, Private Equity, Hedge Fund, or Consulting Firm (McKinsey, Bain, or BCG)Excellent academic credentialsHighly proficient Excel modeling capabilities
