Summary:Under minimal supervision, analyzes, compiles and arranges data into computerized systems to generate financial data to provide information for management. Oversees staff.
Responsibilities:1. Under minimal supervision of Director of Finance analyzes, compiles & arranges data into computerized systems to generate financial data to provide information for management. Oversees staff's performance evaluation, and provides counseling and advice.2. Assists management in monthly expense analysis to understand the profitability of agency as required or necessary.
3. Process and analyzes fixed asset transactions & generate reports, as required or necessary.
4. Assists Director of Finance with review & reporting functions, as required & necessary.
5. Identifies and implements system efficiencies that improves the quality of management reports & processes.
6. Prepares & enters monthly journal entries, & updates recurring entries annually.
7. Performs monthly reconciliation of accounts to maintain accuracy & integrity of financial data.
8. Assists in preparing financial & other reports as needed by management, and with all tax forms necessary to meet Federal & State tax requirements, as necessary or required.
9. Performs a key role in the year-end audit process through organization review & preparation of audit schedules & interaction with external audit staff, as required or necessary.
10. Prepares cash reports for management to analyze cash position, assists in preparing performs monthly bank reconciliation of all cash accounts & communicates with the bank to transfer funds for disbursement or investment, as required & necessary.
11. Assists in preparation & entry of annual budget information, as required or necessary.
12. Assists as back up to Bookkeeper and certain responsibilities of Billing Manager.
13. Manages all financial tracking, billing, and posting of Life Line program.
14. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
15. Performs other duties as assigned.
Other information:Required: Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word. Good communication skills.Minimum Experience: five years
Desired: Lawson/INFOR experience is desirable. IT related education and/or work experience desirable. Home care work
related experience desirable.
