[FS & I Expertise];[Insurance Domain Product Catalog] Job Description / Responsibility Candidate will be responsible for Business Analysis support of the Enterprise Application platform to handle business for Professional Lines. The level of support will vary by application and business area/insurance product, but will include overall system analysis, defining/documenting new application requirements, advising users of new features, defining/managing system acceptance criteria and researching problems. Since many of the software platforms are supplied and/or managed by external vendors, candidate will interact with external parties in addition to working closely with other IT teams. Key Responsibilities: Serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. Partners with business stakeholders to define scope and priorities for business; drive business engagement and relationships to understand key business objectives to support analysis and business solution definition. Develop expertise in the functionality and operation of critical enterprise applications Assist business SMEs with requirements definition and application options for new requirements Analyze and assess requirements to identify upstream and downstream system and process impacts to proactively communicate impacts, risks, and solutions to other technology and business owners. Creates detailed Business Requirement Document (BRD), Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), and User Acceptance Test Strategy. Create process and workflow diagrams Create use cases when feasible Document and manage change requests and assist with the effort estimates Create/update entries in the helpdesk ticketing systems Troubleshoot problems, define solutions, and track vendor deliverables Provide data mapping, application interface and data integration analysis Evaluate data quality issues and define/implement corrective actions Assist in the development of test scenarios, test execution and test results validation Assist in the development of training materials Develop and deliver training classes as needed Coordinate activities and communications with business users, vendors, and internal IT groups Manage projects with PMO, when needed Coordinate projects with IT application support and change management team Collaborates with and supports Business Analysts on projects, as needed. QUALIFICATIONS TO PERFORM THE JOB Minimum 5 years' experience as a business analyst, IT business systems analyst, insurance data analyst or similar role in the Commercial P&C industry Preferred experience includes multiple commercial, Professional Liability and specialty lines Skills/Experience Required: Business analysis experience in Commercial P&C insurance with a background in Information Technology or Commercial Insurance Operations Knowledge of Commercial Insurance lines including Professional liability insurance for Federal employees and Specialty Lines Hands-on experience with one or more vendor Commercial Insurance policy platforms Experience with Professional Lines Policy Admin Enterprise application, processing and/or data reporting needs a plus Experience managing vendor and/or consulting teams Proficient in the use of MS Office, DevOps, SQL/data reporting tools, ticketing/problem tracking systems Excellent problem-solving skills Excellent oral a
