Torch Technologies is currently seeking a Network Administrator to support the Ground Vehicle System Center (GVSC) at the Detroit Arsenal, located in Warren, MI. Selected candidates with experience in connecting facilities, planning and cost estimating necessary hardware play a pivoted role in supporting achievement in network security and performance requirements. Ability to develop software applications for data management over networks and to recognize and characterize network topologies. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated practical experience with network development, integration, and implementation along with strong project management skills and knowledge of phase gate process. Candidate should be dependable, self-motivated, and eager to overcome challenges with strong problem-solving skills.

Job Requirements Qualified Candidates will have direct experience with the following: Extensive understanding of networking with Linux Systems Strong understanding of containerization technologies Extensive background with Marshalling and Unmarshalling Network Data Strong understanding of Network Security operations and implementation Management of Network Design and procurement of materials for integration Development of technical documentation and application deliverables Reviewing contractor performance specifications and software documentation Experience within a multiple discipline engineering team

Qualified candidates will have an interest or experience in one of the following areas: Routing and Switching administration with Cisco (or another network OS) and Linux Familiarity with networking protocols (STP, LACP, DHCP, BGP, RADIUS, TACACS+) Configuration automation (Python, Ansible, Bash, or other scripting/programming language) Cisco VPN administration (FirePOWER Management Center, FirePOWER Threat Defense) Cisco ASA and Linux Firewall administration Network Access Controller administration (AAA Server) Datacenter Management (Serial Console, Patching Drops, C
