Human Resources Assistant
Summary and Highlights:
Schedule o Monday – Friday o 8am – 430pm
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Human Resources Assistant
Details:
Payrate: $17/hr-$19/hr based on experience
Human Resources Assistant Job Duties
Under general supervision, provides quality initial support services to all employees with a high degree of customer satisfaction, expertise, and timelinessThis includes evaluating and analyzing the employee request/concern, quickly interpreting the situation, determining the appropriate resolution and/or escalation, and communicating the resolution and escalation to the customerAssists employees and managers with basic to moderately complex questions related to Human Resources (HR), Payroll, Benefits, Time and Attendance and other HR related issues, along with managing walk-ins into the Human Resources departmentMaintains accurate documentation within case management system of calls, transactions, and outcomes of issues raised for administrative review and follow upAssists employees with basic to moderately complex questions related to employee/manager self-service, intranet, or PeopleSoft utilizationProvides initial support, investigation, resolution and follow up to incoming inquiries/calls related to Human Resources (HR), Payroll, Benefits, Time and Attendance and other HR related issuesMaintains knowledge of all first tier related questions in order to provide prompt, highly responsive and superior customer service to all inquiriesIdentifies and escalate issues to HR Representative II as appropriateIdentifies trends that may need additional attention and reports to the ManagerAdheres to current workplace procedures in accordance with procedure manual and standard operating proceduresProvides input for customer service standards and maintain the sameParticipates in cross-functional teams and initiatives related to process improvements and enhancementsMaintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops and other learning opportunitiesPerforms other related duties as assigned or requested
Human Resources Assistant Skills:
HR background
CSR background preferred
Level 2 tier experience: mid-level experience
Analytical mind
Fast-paced environment
Ability to multi-task
Good at documentation
Self starter, good communication
