Purpose

The Cybersecurity Analyst I is responsible for the monitoring and alerting of Roseburg's IT systems. This individual ensures security issues are being responded too and adhering to the company security standards by working closely with other members in the Information Technology department.

Relevant cybersecurity certifications and two years of experience information technology or 1 year of experience as a cybersecurity analystHigh level understanding of tools, techniques, and procedures used by threat actors before and during a cyberattackAbility to effectively communicate complex technical concepts and issues to a non-technical audienceStrong technical, planning/organizational, and execution skillsExcellent verbal, listening and written communication skillsExcellent attention to detailStrong interpersonal skillsSound documentation skillsAbility to work on multiple priorities effectivelyStrong critical thinking and analytical reasoning skillsPreferred Qualifications

Basic understanding of scripting languages and regular expressionUnderstanding of operating systems and networking fundamentalsOne of the following Cybersecurity Certifications:

CompTIA Security+ CertificationAssociate of (ISC)2 seeking SSCPCisco CCENTTrilogy Education (2U) Cybersecurity Boot Camp Certificate of Completion
