Purpose
Serve as the open market sales liaison and primary sales agent between manufacturing and the client, in collaboration with the Territory Sales Managers (TSM’s). The primary objective is to provide elite level service in a sales environment that will maximize the experience for the client and provide profitable growth for Roseburg.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive requests for quotation from customers/KAM’s, prepare and return promptly.
- Assist in the execution of selling programs to customers in a coordinated effort with the Sales Manager, KAM’s and Business Development teams.
- Ability to understand and interpret current and future market events
- Build a strong knowledge of market segments to achieve highest valued return to the mill
- Identify market opportunities and convey to the team
- Orchestrate the company response on complaints and claims, ensuring the appropriate sense of urgency while proactively communicating status within and outside the company
- Maintain pricing documents and ensure order/data entry and analysis as appropriate
- Embrace ownership of the cycle of order fulfillment from order receipt, through manufacturing, logistics, and A/R processes
- Communicate the needs of the customer to all internal Roseburg stakeholders by analyzing, organizing, and presenting data, facts, and logic
- Coordinate and co-manage inside & outside sales efforts within assigned territory and/ or specific accounts; assume accountability for reaching or exceeding target volume, return and sales levels
- Establish and maintain a successful market intelligence network
- Facilitate a collaborative working relationship with key manufacturing personnel, internal and external customers
- Ability to add additional support from other upper level management as needed.
- The measure of success will be meeting or exceeding goals set by the Sales Manager in the areas of order entry, data tracking, collection, and reporting

Required Qualifications
- Four year college degree or equivalent experience required
- A comprehensive understanding of Roseburg products and competitive landscape
- Capacity to deliver elite level service
- Ability to work in various computer platforms Microsoft
- Office applications, Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One
- Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision
- Strong self-motivation and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, listening, and written communication skills
- Positive demeanor and the ability to function within a team
- Ability to multi-task in a changing, fast paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous industry-related experience
