Primary care serves as the first point of contact for a family's everyday health care needs. Primary care clinics include both family medicine and internal medicine specialists dedicated to providing ongoing and comprehensive health care for their patients.
Family medicine specialists provide medical care for all ages, often treating multiple generations of the same family. Internal medicine specialists are uniquely trained to provide the full spectrum of care for adult patients 18 years and older.
Providers use a personalized, team-based approach to patient care, from diagnosing and treating sudden illnesses to managing chronic conditions and providing routine health screenings and vaccinations. In addition to physicians, our integrated network includes care coordinators, primary care behavioral health specialists, educators and medical specialists to ensure our patients always receive the best and most appropriate care.
Position Summary
Responsible for providing medical services under the direction of the medical director or delegate. Duties include patient assessment, direct patient care, treatment planning, medical case management, writing orders and prescriptions, appropriate referrals, participation in appropriate staffing and communication with patient, staff, employer, insurance, and attorneys. Responsible for direct supervision of the Medical Assistant.
Job Qualifications:
Graduate of a US approved MD or DO school
Successful completion of a US approved Family Medicine residency program
Required minimum certifications
Colorado Medical License in good standings or the ability to retain one
Colorado DEA in good standings or the ability to retain one
