Job Description:

We are seeking a Junior Network Technician to support our customer's mission. The ideal candidate for this role will be familiar with a broad range of IT operations and have a desire to expand their overall knowledge of network infrastructure and components. In this role, the network technician will be part of a cross-functional team contributing to network evaluation, hardware/software installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and installation of components appropriate for classroom and virtual learning infrastructure. Required Qualifications:

TS/SCI with polygraph.An Associate of Science (A.S.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (e.g., General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, or Computer Security). In lieu of a degree, at least two (2) years of network-related experience is required.Basic knowledge of packet flow analysis, TCP/IP, and basic network services.A Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician (CCENT) certification or CompTIA Network+ certification is preferred.
