Role: Systems SpecialistLocation: Indianapolis, IN, 46240 (HYBRID)Position Type: Full Time(Permanent)

What you will be doing:The Systems Specialist will develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. The specialist should possess technical skills and business knowledge related to the servicing of loans. They will work closely with business partners, Systems Analysts and other members of the team to assist with development efforts and projects in support of servicing loans on the loan servicing platform.Develops automated solutions to solve for moderate to highly complex business processes.Creates automated build and deployment scripts.Develops and executes data mining queries based on business requirements.Maintains a high level of code quality and consistency by adhering to and helping to develop the company's coding standards, design methodology, and programming practices.Provides realistic effort estimates and project timelines for new development and maintenance projects.Interprets business requirements and functional specifications to create technical design and technical specification documentation.Creates unit test cases and technical documentation.

Experience you will need:Bachelor's Degree - Business Admin, Finance, MIS or equivalent experience.3 - 5 years Python or related scripting experience.3 - 5 years SQL development experience.Experience with Microsoft Office tools.Experience with detailed data analysis.Relational database experience.Ability to interact effectively with business leaders.Ability to conduct research, be inquisitive and resolve complex issues.Identify new strategies, processes, procedures and solutions for the organization.Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility in work schedule to meet business needs and able to adapt to change quickly.

Experience that is preferred:Bachelor's level degree in Business, Accounting, or Information Technology.Oracle/Netezza/Snowflake experience.Experience with CI/CD pipeline deployment strategies.Experience with AWS integrated services.
