Full-time benefit eligible position, 36 patient contact hours per weekAverage 20-25 patients per dayNo nights or weekendsNo inpatient duties; 24/7 adult and pediatric hospitalist coverageClinic call shared amongst primary care providers

Currently 1:13 call rotationTelephonic call onlyCalls triaged by MyNurse hotlineMinimal call volume

Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serveGeneral primary care procedures such as joint injections, skin excisions, lacerations, casting, etc.Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient carePatient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environmentExcellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skillsQualifications:

MD or DOBoard Eligible or Board Certified in Family MedicineAbility to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of IowaHold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practiceEligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)J-1 waiver sponsorship available
