Primary Care Physician (MD or DO)
for a long term opportunity in
Dumfries, VA.
Summary:
Are you passionate about providing primary care to patients serving our country's active Military? As an integral member of this facility, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients while working within a new, state of the art facility with a supportive team.
Status:
W2
Benefit:
Paid time off, CME allowance and paid time off, sick leave and 11 paid holidays
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day
Health Center open 7am 8pm Monday Friday Adjustable start times 7am, 8am, 9am, 10am, 11am Each Provider works 1 day a week until close Closed on all Federal Holidays No on-call responsibilities Not a productivity model - emphasis on wellness and prevention
About the opportunity:
Managing acute and chronic conditions Providing care to the exclusive patient population of active Military, Military families and retirees Will be assigned a panel of 1365 patients Supportive environment with Senior Physician & Nursing leadership Working as part of an interdisciplinary team Access to specialty services to include pediatrics, radiology, optometry, pharmacy and lab; all located in the same building About the facility:
New facility - under 3 years old State of the art Requirements:
Any active state license Board certification in Family or Internal Medicine At least 2 years of experience outside of residency program completion Active BLS and ACLS certifications Active DEA registration Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
