East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) has an opportunity for a RI-licensed Physician to join our Health Center located at 100 Bullocks Point, Riverside, RI. The Physician would be part of our Accountable Care Organization, providing integrated services to the residents of East Bay. Our mission is to provide high-quality, comprehensive, and accessible health, dental, behavioral health, and human services to assist people to achieve their fullest potential. As a family physician with EBCAP, you will provide direct medical services including but not limited to a clinical focus on health promotion, disease prevention and routine health maintenance visits and acute care for all age groups. You will educate patients regarding care, diagnoses, treatment plan, medications and prognosis. You will obtain specialty physician consultation for complicated patients or patients who are assessed to be outside the scope of EBCAP's practice, and supervise allied health professionals (physician assistant, nurses, medical assistants, etc.) of the care team.
The position requires an MD (allopathic) or DO (osteopathic) degree, and completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine. Licensure through the RI Department of Health, possess DEA registration/RI Controlled Substance Licensure, complete all privileging and credentialing requirements, and possess Board Certification in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine.
