Job Description
Prescient Edge is seeking a Human Resource Generalist who is interested in a dynamic role in a fast-paced and growing environment. Candidates are expected to be well-organized and able to handle day-to-day operations with a focus on quality, efficiency, and excellent time management. Duties will vary from HR support tasks including new employee onboarding, benefit management, payroll administration support, employee relations, and employee separation management. In this role, you will dive into the full spectrum of HR responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Ensure policy and procedures are upheld throughout the companyAssist in quality control and maintenance of HR records including new hires, pay/benefit changes, benefit rates and options, and payroll reportingProvide feedback to leadership regarding best practicesPerform new employee onboarding and employee separation activities as needed, including data entry/data management, benefit administration, meeting coordination, etc.Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programsSuggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole, and to improve employee experienceEnsure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as requiredBe the primary backup for payroll processing, including bi-weekly and semi-monthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, tracking vacation/sick pay, importing expense reimbursements, inputting exceptions, hourly employee validations, and benefit changesAssist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook and contributes to the development of policiesJob Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related fieldOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuitePreferred
Master's Degree in business, human resources, or a related fieldHR certification (e.g., SHRM, HCRI)
