Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Senior Business Analyst

Our enterprise-level client in Cincinnati, OH, has an immediate need for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Senior Business Analyst. Please see below for full details- Job Notes: -Permanent / non-contract position. -ASAP start date -Onsite in Cincinnati, OH -Drug & Background required. Configures and Executes Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) system to meet the needs of our end user community in the areas of supply chain, finance, and production including third-party and custom applications. Simultaneously works on one or more projects as a team member or lead. Manages Dynamics 365 Warehouse modernization projects as well as continuous improvement opportunities across the enterprise. Facilitates and leads other subject matter experts (SMEs) in gathering requirements for Dynamics 365. Identifies and recommends functional and technological solutions. Primary Functions: Acts as the primary functional and technical resource for our Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations ERP implementation Serves as a liaison between the business and IT department and works with the ERP business partners and other suppliers to provide technical and business solutions to meet user requirements. Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed. Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications in Dynamics 365 and automates process where appropriate. Assists in developing recommendations for utilizing processes to take full advantage of the capabilities of the ERP and/or associated systems to streamline operations in the business unit. Identifies enhancements or extensions to Dynamics 365 and/or the need for external systems by understanding user needs, development costs, benefits, and impact of these enhancements. Participates in data mapping, function mapping, setting of configuration tables and transaction/control tables. Responsible for interface, batch, workflows, alerts, and security/authorization set-up, testing, and maintenance. Responsible for documenting and executing integration activities in accordance with acquisition activities defined Constructs test scenarios to verify functionality and feasibility of new and existing capability. This includes current and new business processes and procedures. Assists in developing conversion plans for future system changes for a business unit by understanding the business and operating requirements and the magnitude and complexity of the conversion effort. Assists management and the user community to determine reporting and form needs and writing project requests. Maintains our data warehouse and works with BI Analysts and Developers to design and test reports, dashboards, and forms. Qualifications/Requirements: Experience with 3 or more large scale Dynamics 365 F&O or AX 2012 R3 software implementations and/or 5-7 years' experience in systems/application development or analyst functions in F&O and AX 2012 or 2009. Significant experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for finance and operations configuration and setups. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience in the Business Unit. Why Choose Merge IT?
