Position Status: Full-time, Salaried
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Junior FOIA Analyst will be responsible for preparing source data for entry by opening and sorting mail, verifying and logging receipt of data, and obtaining missing data.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Scan fingerprint cards and provide an excel spreadsheet of the fingerprint card information.
Writes, types, or enters information into the computer, using a keyboard, to prepare correspondence, bills, statements, receipts, checks, or other documents, and copy information from one record to another.
Sorts and files records.
Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Proofreads records or forms.
Process FOIA requests.
KEY REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience.
Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Comprehensive knowledge of FOIA processing systems.
Prior record and documentation management experience.
Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to work in a team environment.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a government public trust level clearance.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
The work is primarily sedentary. Employee will have consistent and direct visual contact with a computer monitor. The work is performed in an office setting that is adequately lit and climate controlled.
