As a Clinical Support Coordinator at Indiana Donor Network, you are the first step in the organ and tissue donation process! In this position you are responsible for:Obtaining appropriate informed telephone authorization and comprehensive medical and social history risk assessment with families of patients who authorize donation.Work with clinicians performing a medical screening on patients.Executing all elements of case coordination for tissue cases and shared organ cases to provide seamless transitions and effective case completion.Providing accurate information to both internal and external customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and post-secondary training or education in a relevant area. This could be an EMT, LPN, Medical Assistant, or another similar background. Passion for helping others and thinking big are required.
Indiana Donor network is a healthcare organization serving as the vital link between donors and patients waiting for lifesaving organ transplants, healing tissue and corneas to restore sight. We are the state's federally designated organ recovery organization and an accredited tissue bank.
This is a night shift position, working rotating 12-hour shifts from 7 pm to 7 am.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and post-secondary training or education in a relevant area. This could be an EMT, LPN, Medical Assistant, or another similar background. Passion for helping others and thinking big are required.
This position works a 12-hour shift, from 7:00 to 7:00. We currently have day and night shifts available. The schedule rotates, and requires up to two weekends per month.
