About the System Security Engineer position
We are looking for an experienced System Security Engineer to help us ensure proper level of security of corporate digital systems and network. Your duties will include protecting system boundaries, keeping computer systems and network devices hardened against attacks and securing highly sensitive data.
You should possesses both deep and wide expertise in the security space and have a background in security or systems engineering.
System Security Engineer responsibilities are:Organize computer security architecture and develop detailed cyber security designsReview, develop and implement security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and informationDefine system security requirements and prepare reports on your resultsReview and document standard operating procedures and protocolsConfigure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devicesCreate technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasksPerform support and consulting of the company's personnel about security incidents and measuresPrepare detailed reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancementSystem Security Engineer requirements are:
2+ years' experience of working on System Security Engineer or other relevant positionSignificant experience of building and maintaining security systemsGood experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etcGood experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring toolsIn-depth knowledge of database and operating system securityGood familiarity of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocolsUnderstanding of Web related technologies, including applications, services, Service Oriented Architectures, networking protocols and so onStrong problem solving skills and ability to work under pressureBS degree in Computer Science or other related area
