MercyOne Ruan Neurology
is an integrated multispecialty practice with a statewide referral network. Our 9 Neurologists and 4 Advanced Practice Provider's manage the full spectrum of neurological diseases across all specialties. We are an MS Center of Excellence from The Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Center. Opportunities exist for outreach and tele-neurology. Rounding out the service are 2 Neuropsychologists who provide a wide range of testing. Our comprehensive practice collaborates closely with Neurosurgery, PMR and Pain Medicine.

residents (Family Medicine/Psychiatry/Internal Medicine) and Des Moines University medical students.

is composed of 4 central/southern Iowa Hospitals totaling 875 beds and managing 16 rural Hospitals. Our

is a Level 2 Trauma 550 bed Hospital with a tertiary service area of 1.4 million and one of Iowa's busiest Emergency Departments. We are a recipient of the Get with The Guidelines-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award from the American Stroke Association and we are the only hospital in Iowa to receive the Gold Seal of Approval and Primary Stroke Center certification from the Joint Commission.
