We are looking for a dedicated and experienced primary care physician to join our team in Central/Northern Maine. The ideal candidate will be board-certified in family medicine or internal medicine and have experience providing care in a rural setting.
What You Will Do:
Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all agesManage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart diseaseProvide preventive care such as cancer screenings, immunizations, and well-child visitsWork with other members of the healthcare team to provide coordinated care to patientsParticipate in continuing education to maintain and improve clinical skillsProvide education and support to patients and familiesAdhere to all clinic policies and proceduresWhat You Need:
State of Maine license to practice medicineBoard certification in family medicine or internal medicineActive DEA LicenseResidency trained in family medicine or internal medicineExperience and active support for rural, community-oriented primary careAbility to provide primary supervising physician responsibilities to PAs and FNPsExperience and willingness to work with an underserved populationCommitment to the mission and values of the centerWhat We Offer:
