Database Administrator

Role: Database Administrator- Mid Level Location: Winston-Salem, NC Duration: 6 Months Contract Note: This position is full time onsite in Winston-Salem, NC. Job Description: This position requires hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications. Proven working experience as a Database Administrator. Experience providing support for Oracle RDBMS, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Linux RedHat, Ellucian Banner, and a variety of ancillary systems that support Banner. Excellent experience with design and development of database triggers, tables, schemas, objects, stored procedures and SQL scripting. Ability to plan and manage the integration and implementation of new technology, solving highly technical and complex problems while guiding and providing the direction for projects through completion. Knowledge of new or existing technologies to develop solutions. Skills in written and oral communications. Ability to deal with multiple priorities, to promote teamwork and work independently. Demonstrated ability to work well with others. Skills: Experience with installing, configuring, patching, and maintaining database management servers and software. Excellent experience with SQL scripting Demonstrated experience in analysis and development of Applications and experience with Ellucian Banner ERP System Experience with Linux RedHat and Shell Scripting
