As Michigans second-largest performing arts organization, our goal has always been to provide enriching musical performances with an emphasis on live orchestral music for diverse audiences throughout West Michigan. With over 400 performances each year and 16 concert series performances, the Grand Rapids Symphony touches the lives of some 200,000 individuals with nearly half of those being students, senior citizens, and people with disabilities through extensive education and community service programs.We are seeking a skilled Annual Fund and Stewardship Manager to join our team, manage our broad base fundraising projects and meet our corporate giving program objectives. This individual will report to the Director of Corporate and Broad Base Giving as well as collaborate with our development team to manage broad base and major donor benefits and help with cultivating relationships with current and prospective annual fund donors. You will get the chance to develop close relationships with our current donors and build new relationships in an exciting and unique environment.**What you will do:*** Manage all broad base and major donors with portfolios up to $1,000 through ensuring all benefits are met and helping to create donor appreciation and cultivation events* Monitor our donor database and identify opportunities to move and manage qualified donors to major gift officers* Plan, create, and execute annual fund solicitation campaigns including developing print, email, and social media marketing strategies* Research and develop new annual fundraising opportunities and track annual fund fundraising metrics* Collaborate with other departments on how to ensure smooth recognition and stewardship process for our current donors as well as implement new fundraising strategies to attract potential donors* Provide excellent customer service through developing strong relationships with donors and corporate sponsors and keeping all donor projects on track**To succeed in this role, you will need:*** 2+ years of Development/Annual Fund experience and an undergraduate degree* Strong background in fundraising best practices* Proof of vaccination status* Proficiency in MS Office Suite* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment* Excellent communication and organization skills* Experience working with donor database is preferred* Experience in for-profit sales and relationship management is a plus**What we offer you:*** $40,000 $45,000 annual salary* Hybrid work schedule* Health and dental insurance* 401k plan* Complimentary tickets to most Symphony concerts!*The Grand Rapids Symphony is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against candidates based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetic information.*To apply for this job please visit .
