Overview:
Manages day-to-day running of the office which may include, administratively supporting President/Senior Staff, performing some human resources and/or payroll functions, coordinating facilities; assisting with IT functions; and / or supervising administrative staff.Company Overview:
Beazer Homes is committed to employee wellbeing and life-work balance, offering development opportunities, a flexible time-off program, and an industry leading parental leave policy.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:Manages day-to-day running of the office including ordering office supplies, stationery, business cards and coffee; and arranging for delivery and maintenance of copiers and other office equipment after terms of purchase / lease negotiated and solving office problems and trouble shooting.Performs other duties as assigned which may include:Supporting President/Senior Staff administratively including making travel arrangements; answering telephones and resolving issues or directing calls to appropriate departments; processing mail; items for local delivery and UPS packages; preparing and distributing reports; entering data; coding and / or processing paperwork; arranging for off-site meetings; coordinating special events such as Holiday Party, Annual Picnic, etc.; and acting as IT contact.Performing some Human Resources and / or Payroll functions including relaying employee issues to Area HR executive or Corporate HR; assisting in hiring process of Employee Requisitions, offer letters, Status Change Forms, conducting New Employee Orientations, etc.; maintaining employee files; processing payroll; and answering benefit questions.Coordinating facilities, including arranging for office space, coordinating office moves, managing security system or cleaning services, coding and approving utility bills, etc.Supervising staff and delegating some of items mentioned above or below to staff.Education & Experience:
Ability to deal equitably and professionally with staff, management, customers and vendors.Ability to communicate patiently and professionally with customers; ability to answer calls professionally and knowledgeably on behalf of senior management.Strong organization skills; ability to prioritize several tasks without compromising quality of work or deadlines.Ability to use word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet, presentation (PowerPoint), database and newsletter (Adobe) software for advanced internal and external communications, creation of reports and presentations and database maintenance.Knowledge of Business English and related correspondence formats.If managing staff, ability to manage administrative team effectively. Must be able to distribute work among team equitably and within each individuals abilities and resolve employee problems and issues that may occur.Physical Requirements:
