reativityExcellenceThe Role:As a Machinist you are an essential part of helping Entegris be part of the Future of Innovation. In this role you will be responsible for machining 2nd operations on plastic injection molded components as well as machining product from sheet and rod stock using both CNC lathes and mills. You will need to have strong attention to detail and be able to work with SAP and other computer systems.In this role you will also see a clear path for career advancement. Entegris promotes from within and as a Machinist you will gain the skills necessary and have the opportunity to advance upward and qualify for other roles, such as senior level machinist, trainer, team lead, supervisor, or many other roles! If you are a motivated high performer who wants to work and learn in a fast-growing company, this role is for you.In this role you will:Run production orders complete or setup for manufacturing operators.Program CNC mills or lathes for first time runs utilizing CAM software or conversational programmingFollow detailed blueprints, customer specifications, and internal work instructionsOperate hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and computers, (desktop and machine control varieties)Operate powered machine tools such as CNC mills, CNC lathes, manual machining equipment, bandsaws, and various other machining equipmentSet up simple to complex jobs with little supervisionRoutinely perform initial setup on new partsMay be tasked with preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties.Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
High School Diploma or equivalentAt least 1 year related experienceAble to safely lift 40 poundsKnowledge of CNC tooling and equipmentPossess math and precision measurement skills and able to read machine drawingsA highly motivated self-driven machinist with good attention to detailEnjoys working in a team environment and is able to work with limited supervisionYour success will be measured by:
