Job Summary

This entry-level position requires no previous full-time work experience. Qualified candidates will be enrolled into Safety's formal training program where they will learn basic adjusting skills and develop investigative techniques in handling automobile physical damage claims. The successful candidate will be an advocate for delivering a high level of customer service, while displaying empathy and a supportive attitude for our policyholders.

DUTIESSets up first notice of losses (FNOL) using Safety's proprietary software programsInterprets coverage and identifies potential coverage defensesGathers and analyzes relevant information from insureds, claimants, witnesses and law enforcement to establish liability and scope of damagesBecomes proficient in using various software and database programsApplies Massachusetts Standards of Fault to determine liabilityIdentifies all subrogation opportunitiesFosters and maintains a collaborative business relationship with our agency partnersDelivers first class claims service to Safety's valued customersQUALIFICATIONS
