A nonprofit services organization in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their team at one of their preschools in Queens. In this role, the Occupational Therapist (OT) will be responsible for helping students access the academic environment and participate to the maximum extent possible in educationally related activities.

8am to 2pm (30 minutes of paid note taking onsite)Setting:

The Occupational Therapist (OT) will be responsible for:
Providing the best possible quality care to all studentsEvaluating and treating students with disabilitiesMaintaining daily progress and attendance recordsWriting progress reportsAttending IEP meetingRecommending adaptive equipment, environmental accommodations or assistive technologyPerform other assigned duties, as neededQualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (New graduates encouraged to apply!)NYS Occupational Therapist (OT) licenseDesired Skills:
Experience working with the Pediatric populationExperience working with people dealing with Developmental Disabilities
