A nonprofit organization in New York City is looking boost their staff at one of their preschools in the Bronx with the addition of a new, licensed Speech Language Pathologist. In this role, the Preschool Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for heling students access the academic environment and participate to the maximum extent possible in educationally related activities
Responsibilities:
The Preschool Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)Providing the best possible quality care to all studentsEvaluating and treating students with disabilitiesMaintaining daily progress and attendance recordsWriting progress reportsAttending IEP meetingsRecommending adaptive equipment, environmental accommodations or assistive technologyPerforming other duties, as neededQualifications:
6+ months of Speech Language Pathology experience (New graduates will be considered!)Bachelor's DegreeNYS Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licenseNYS issued TSSLDSolid assessment, clinical, and documentation skillsPatient orientedGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organizedDesired Skills:
Bi/MultilingualExperience working with the Pediatric population
