Join us Learn more about Unisys and our key solution offerings:, , , What success looks like in this role: 8 years of relevant experience in Windows Server, SCCM, AD & VMware infrastructure administration Education: B.E / Any Graduate / Diploma Certification- VCP / MCSE Good exposure to ITIL process like incident, change, problem and change management Good communication Skills Willingness to work in shifts (24 x 7 x 365 model) Primary Technical skills required: VMware Expert knowledge and experience on VMware ESX and ESXi (4.1, 5.1, 5.5, 6.5) hypervisors installation and administration. In depth troubleshooting skills in VCenter, ESX and ESXi hosts, Networking and storage. Capacity planning skill for virtual hosts and VMs. Experience on planning, deploying and maintain VMware vSphere environments. Experience in consolidation and upgrade. VM deployment skills form Templates and OVA/OVF. P2V and V2V conversion skills Good knowledge on VMware integrated backup and restore solutions. AD Expert in AD Design, Planning and Deployment for transformation and upgrade projects. Expertise on ADFS infrastructure, configuration, administration, troubleshooting and support. Expertise on Active Directory Administration (Windows 2016, 2019, 2012 and 2008) Good knowledge on FRS,DFSR replication Good knowledge on Active Directory Sites, Subnets, KCC, Replication and Cost interval Good Knowledge on Bridgehead servers, Global catalogs and Universal Group Membership Caching Good knowledge on AD troubleshooting on the replications issues, time stamps, net logon parsing on the account lockouts Good knowledge on metadata cleanup, domain controller placement on the disaster scenarios Knowledge on Active directory DNS, Stub zones, Secondary DNS , Conditional forwarders, root hints and DNS scavenging procedures Good Knowledge on DNSSEC and Global Name Zones Good Knowledge on Forest and Domain DNS zones Knowledge on GPO's/GPP's analyzing, planning and designing Knowledge on trusts and terminology's Windows Server In-depth knowledge and experience on Windows server operating systems (Windows 2019,2016, 2012, 2008) management and administration. High-level trouble shooting skill required on OS related issues, which include memory dump analysis skills and performance tuning. In-depth knowledge and experience on server security hardening with includes patching, antivirus, PKI infrastructure and IPSec encryptions. Expert knowledge on Microsoft clustering and NLB services. Experience on designing Server infrastructure. Expert knowledge on storage and networking which help to design server. Expert control on windows command line tools and power shell/VB scripting. Working experience on Windows infrastructure services like FTP, Telnet, DNS and DHCP etc Expert knowledge on Microsoft licensing for Servers, Terminal services etc SCCM Expert level experience in SCCM administration, Configuration, and deployment of SCCM infrastructure (Mandatory) Must have thorough experience in SCCM infrastructure remediation (both at client side a d server end) Must have experience in integration of automation and scripts for Server OS and application patching Must have experience in managing configuration management process Must have experience in working with ServiceNow and execution of ITIL processes Responsible for supporting the functionality and efficiency of one or more operating systems. Lead teams in the delivery of second and/or third level remote hardware and software/OS support services to clients to resolve product use and multi-product/platform problems and questions relating to enterprise systems, networks and application software, as well as desktop applications. Perform remote installation of applications to users and servers. Responsible for user administration, monitoring of servers, and monitoring antivirus updates. Perform daily checks on servers, analyze logs. Conduct performance tuning of servers. Conduct incident investigation. Conduct detailed troubleshooting of incidents and upgradation and provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Resolve well defined incidents using documented procedures. Review change requests, execute complex changes, and prepare and execute changes per implementation plans. Perform root cause analysis for server crashes. Recommend corrections in current client environment. Coordinate critical customer issues as well as new product and/or system implementations. Relay alerts and situation status information to both client and Unisys management. Provide referrals and/or dispatches to other service providers to ensure that the client's service level and technical requirements are met. Prepare, approve, and coordinate the implementation of technical documentation and ensure that technical and customer documentation is current and complete. Suggest, develop and conduct user training, technical training and orientation. Initiate process improvements for internal and external customers. Lead teams on defined projects. Identify and perform a variety of independent analysis and problem resolution assignments. Define approaches and provide extensive business and/or technical expertise to attain objectives. Interact with clients in person or telephone.
