Join our team as a Supply Chain Data Analyst, a pivotal role driving essential aspects of Global Commodity Management (GCM) operations. Embark on this exciting journey where your analytics prowess reshapes industries.

What You Will DoAs a Supply Chain Data Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role driving vital aspects of Global Commodity Management (GCM) operations. You will ensure uninterrupted supply for TNL factories and Contract Manufacturers to manage build requirements and accommodate demand surges. You’ll spearhead cost reduction within the supply base to match quarterly and annual financial goals. You’ll innovate tools and processes to elevate GCM Team efficiency and offer vital support to the GCM Team in resolving key supply chain shortages and issues.Serve as a key contributor in the ongoing evaluation, development and implementation of new supply chain tools and processes to improve team efficiency and results.Provide support by compiling, consolidating, and analyzing data for various Supply Chain initiatives; supplier forecasting, buffer stock analysis, RFQ preparation and negotiations.Develop Subject Matter Expertise in Purchasing Databases in Cognos, Smart Sheets, and other databases of critical cost, inventory and supply/demand data across multiple internal and external Supply Chains.Manage assigned commodities to support sourcing strategies of manufactured components and products from our global supply base to ensure supplier performance aligns to Trimble requirements.Collaborate with Design Engineering and Program Teams to support new designs by following GCM Sourcing Strategies to ensure supply continuity while meeting On Time, On Cost and On Target Quality performance requirements.Support key projects from kick-off to implementation in areas such as dual sourcing, supplier transition, and new design projects.Identify potential risks to production and implement contingency plans that ensure supplier flexibility including buffer stocking, die banks, JIT and VMI programs.Monitor supplier relationship, capability, capacity, financial stability, risk, and their second tier suppliers.Support Sr. Commodity Managers with tasks such as: Negotiations, RFQs, Data Analytics and task expediting.Identify and evaluate new suppliers to support future technical needs, capacity requirements, and optimized total cost.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Purchasing/Procurement and Supply Chain.BSEE/BSME or BS/BA Business, Supply Chain or related field.Background and direct experience in Operations, Direct Procurement, and Commodity Management.Advanced User of Excel, Google Sheets, SmartSheets, PowerPoint and Google Slides.Experience in operations applications such as Oracle, Agile, DOMO and other ERP systems.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting cross functionally and to all levels of management, both internally and to suppliers.Experience working with Design Engineering, Operations, Finance, and other groups in a multinational organization.Effective problem solving and diligent follow-up to implement solutions to meet operational requirements.
