What You Will Do
As a Program and Project Management Consultant , you will help an emergency management client develop and implement organizational programs, increase transparency and performance management, and comply with Federal laws and regulations. Our management consulting professionals help our clients identify, evaluate, and solve some of their most complex challenges, assisting them in achieving their strategic goals and objectives to fulfill their mission and comply with Federal laws and regulations. The candidate must be adaptable and able to navigate teams through complex organizational dynamics, while recognizing client needs and challenges as they arise. Individuals will engage in a diverse set of project-specific tasks covering a broad set of program and project management capabilities.

Duties Will Include
Develop and deliver effective strategic communications concepts and develop end-to-end meeting resources, including the strategy, preparation documents, facilitation guides, presentations, graphics, after action reports, etc.Assist teams in making informed decisions by summarizing discussions, clarifying points of agreement or disagreement, and providing relevant context. Help teams reach consensus or determine the best course of actionCapture meeting discussions, decisions, action items, and follow-up tasks. Produce clear and concise meeting minutes or summaries to communicate outcomes to participants and stakeholdersSupport task tracking and program evaluation to assist clients in monitoring program successDocument existing business processes and designs new processes to improve the operations of an organizationImprove business processes and support trainings on new business processes and operating modelsImplement processes to increase coordination across the client organizationPresent insights and recommendations for client prioritization and investmentDevelop and present recommended plans of action for client actionSupport the socialization of new/updated business processes
What You Will Need
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust2+ years of relevant experience (management and strategy consulting related field)Bachelor's degree in a management related fieldExperience applying project management conceptsPossess a critical thinking mindset to identify and solve problems independently and with fellow team membersProven ability to design meeting strategies to achieve client goals and facilitate group decision-making around complex policy conceptsProven ability as a strong, detail-oriented writer and editor, with capability to deliver quality content for a variety of audiencescomfortably and confidentlyStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentFlexibility in prioritizing and completing tasksAbility to execute across a variety of tasks simultaneously
What Would Be Nice To Have
Experience in consultingProject Management degree, certificate, and/or certificationDirect experience or familiarity with FEMA, emergency management, or grants management
