What You Will Do

As a Strategy & Business Transformation Senior Consultant , you will provide business transformation and program strategy support for an emergency management client. Our management consulting professionals help our clients identify, evaluate, and solve some of their most complex challenges, assisting them in achieving their strategic goals and objectives to fulfill their mission and comply with Federal laws and regulations. The candidate must be adaptable and able to navigate teams through complex organizational dynamics, while recognizing client needs and challenges as they arise. Individuals will engage in a diverse set of project-specific tasks covering a broad set of business transformation and strategic capabilities.

Duties Will Include

Support strategic leadership alignment workshops and planningSupport the documentation of existing business processes and design of new processes to improve the operations of an organizationSupport development of recommendations for streamlining numerous business processes/operationsSupport development a unified program strategy leveraging best practices, new ideas, and lessons learned from previous, individual business processes/operationsSupport development of insights and recommendations for client prioritization and investmentSupport development and presentation of recommended plans of action for client actionSupport implementation of short-, medium-, and long-term approved recommendationsSupport a team with consolidating and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to support data-driven decision-makingDesign and develop high-level communications products and strategiesSupport development and delivery of effective strategic communications concepts and end-to-end meeting resources, including the strategy, preparation documents, facilitation guides, presentations, graphics, after action reports, etc.

What You Will Need

US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public TrustBachelor's degree in a management or other related fieldTWO (2)+ years years of relevant experience (management or strategy consulting related field)Possess a critical thinking mindset to identify and solve problems independently and with fellow team membersAbility as a strong, detail-oriented writer and editor, with capability to deliver quality content for a variety of audiencescomfortably and confidentlyAbility to think strategically, analyze complex issues, and provide creative solutionsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasksAbility to execute across a variety of tasks simultaneouslyExperience in consultingExperience applying project management conceptsExperience with Section 508 complianceDirect experience or familiarity with FEMA, emergency management, or grants management
