Immediate need for a BE/BC Nephrologist to join a well established multi Specialty Group. Lets Discuss.We are an independent, multi-specialty practice that has over 100 employees including 10 employed MDs 4 APP’s, 3 NP’s, Physical Therapists, and the full complement of administrative staff. Specialties include Internal Medicine Primary Care, Rheumatology and Osteoporosis, Nephrology, and Endocrinology.provider will be responsible for maintaining and building a full scope nephrology practice. The practice will consist of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities, along with Medical Directorship
The clinic is open Monday through Friday 7a to 5p - Physicians have a 4.5-day week with a fixed half day.It is up to the Physicians when they would like to begin their practice every day.The incoming physician can spend a half day at the clinic and a half day rounding/doing consults at Hospital.Additionally, one week a month will be spent at another site (each physician is set up at 1 site and the NP does most of the day-to-day. Very close in location.
During the week spent at the other site you will have no outpatient responsibilities but will round/do consults at the hospital. It is light because you are rotating with the other physician so only a couple days
CALL:
1:2 weeknights and 1:3 weekend call shared with the Dr. and the Nurse Practitioner. Call volume tends to be minimal – Director described as “benign” and he very rarely goes in. On the weekends he rounds at hospital, it takes 1-2 hours and he uses that day to do yard work, things that would keep him in the community.Base Compensation:
$220K and up annual salary before partnership –1st year: higher of the base pay or 65% as if they were partner.2nd year: higher of the base pay or 85% if they were partner.
