DescriptionAbout the role:UKG is seeking a detail-oriented individual to work in collaboration with application development teams to deploy, manage, and improve large-scale web-based SaaS platform solutions. This individual will be part of a team that monitors, analyzes, and improves the stability, performance, and serviceability of our applications.The ideal candidate: Updates and automates code to prevent issues as well as to streamline updates and the deployment of major system changes. Maintains production and test environments and monitors and troubleshoots issues. Responsible for quickly identifying and implementing fixes to downtime as well as constantly identifying processes to prevent outages. Works to minimize time to market for major organizational changes that require cross-functional system updates. Requires a broad understanding of network, testing, infrastructure automation tools and coding language.In support of our culture, we are adopting a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office and the rest of the week from home.QualificationsAbout you:Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with private or public cloud-based support tools and direct engineering and support experience (Openstack and GCP Preferred)Strong experience with Linux (ubuntu preferred); experience with containerized applicationsExperience with Key servers, Vault, Influx, Grafana, KibanaExperience scripting in any of the following languages: Ruby, Python, Bash, Ansible, PowerShell, Chef, TerraformPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degreeStrong desire to automate everythingStrong and effective communication and documentation skillsAbility to learn quickly and work independently as well as collaborate with team members and project stakeholdersEEO Statement
