DescriptionAbout the role:UKG is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. As a key member of our DevOps team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, dependable, and secure infrastructure solutions. Your proficiency in terraform, ansible, and cloud technologies will be essential in shaping our infrastructure and deployment strategies.Duties and Responsibilities:Designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure using terraform, ensuring best practices for scalability, resiliency, and securityDeveloping and maintaining efficient ansible playbooks and establishing configuration management best practicesProviding technical mentorship to the DevOps team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvementCollaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applicationsOptimizing infrastructure performance, monitoring ongoing operations, and implementing initiative-taking solutions for issues and bottlenecksEstablishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, designing and implementing automated testing and release processesEvaluating and recommending new tools and technologies to enhance the DevOps workflow and improve efficiencyStaying up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOpsQualificationsAbout you:Basic Qualifications:Proven experience as a DevOps engineer, demonstrating expertise in designing and implementing complex and scalable infrastructuresExtensive proficiency in terraform and ansible, including deep understanding of their capabilities and best practicesStrong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and ability to design and manage cloud resources effectivelyExcellent scripting and automation skills using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShellExperience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCIPreferred Qualifications:In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like KubernetesSolid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and infrastructure hardening practicesPreferred certifications in Terraform and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teamsEEO Statement
